Today from 9 AM to 4 PM is the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine’s first Dollar Day event, opening the door to imagination and play for ALL visitors for a ONE-dollar admission fee!
Dollar Day admission pricing will also apply to today's performances of GRUFF!! An Epic Fairytale Eco-Musical in Maddy’s Theatre at 11 am and 3 pm. Separate reservations are required.
Dollar Day$ are sponsored by WEX, and are part of CMTM’s ongoing work and commitment to eliminate barriers families might face in taking full advantage of the facility. Everyone belongs at the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine.
BOOKING INFORMATION
Infants younger than 9 months do not need to reserve a ticket. If you would like to pay cash, please choose the 'pay at the door' ticket options, and we will take payment when you arrive for your play session. (Members, you can use the sign-in button at the top right of this page to receive your 100% member discount ahead of time!)
If you are unable to select a specific date/time within the 10 to 14 day reservation window, that means TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT for that date and time. If you are unable to enter your desired number of tickets, that means there are tickets available for that date/time, but not enough to complete your requested order. Please select another date and/or time when available.
Online ticket sales end 15 minutes prior to the start of the play session, or when the session sells out.

Please be advised that we will change our masking requirements based on CDC guidance. Keep an eye out for updates from us, and check our covid procedures page on the day of your visit.
If you or a member of your party become ill prior to your scheduled visit, you book the wrong timeblock by mistake, or your plans otherwise change and you cannot visit, please call the Museum & Theatre at 207-828-1234 to release your tickets.
