Get ready for a HOOTING good time at the Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine this Halloween season. Children and their caregivers are invited to a series of not-so-scary Halloween celebration events for children and their families. There is something for every feathered, furry, and festive friend! Expect a range of activities that will invite you to hoot & howl your way through museum exhibits, trick-or-treat indoors, explore artifacts and specimens of spine-tingling animals, meet misunderstood characters in a special interactive performance in Maddy's Theatre, and create a craft that creeps and crawls in MakerSpace.
$18 General Admission (CMTM members receive a 10% discount, babies under 11 months are free). Tickets include admission, trick-or-treat stations, a take-home craft, a small snack, and a trick-or-treat tote bag.

Festivities wrap up at 1 pm. CMTM remains open for free play from 1 pm - 4 pm.
Allergen note: CMTM’s Hoot & Howl Halloween is proud to be a Teal Pumpkin Project event. Treats and snacks will be peanut, dairy, soy, and gluten-free. Treats and snacks may have trace amounts of these allergens. Non-food treats will be available at each station as an alternative and marked as a teal pumpkin.
